Analysis Of Stock Valuation In Chinese Graphite Industry

Graphite industry is a sector department of material resources industry. Unlike other traditional listed companies, the listed companies of graphite industry are very popular to capital market for concept stocks " grapheme".But it is also a problem of how to estimate reasonable prices on stocks " grapheme ". So, in this thesis, we give two types of methods. The former one is to estimate the values of listed companies of graphite industry by traditional methods of Relative Valuation and Absolute Valuation and then combine them to AHP model. The latter one is to investigate factors which effect stock prices based on statistics, then put them into multiple regression model and finally give the right regression price model according to real stock data.The conclusions drew by this thesis is:valuation is a mixture filed of subjectivity and objectivity. The AHP model gives conservative results, between DDM of Absolute Valuation and Relative Valuation. The multiple regression model shows stock price has a high positive correlation with percentage of tradable share, earnings per share, market index, net profit growth rate and provident fund per share, but negative correlation with total assets of listed companies.
