In recent years, influenced by the factors such as dollar rate hike, capital flow, except the United States, other developed economies recover slowly, emerging economies grow sluggishly, the global economic malaise with poor external environment. Meanwhile, in the context of economic restructuring and supply-side reform, the Scale of non-performing assets of commercial banks in China are expanding. Since the third quarter of 2011 has been low, commercial banks non-performing loan ratio keep rising from 0.9%, till the second quarter of 2016, the Non-performing loan ratio already reached 1.75%.For now, zombie companies eliminated, overcapacity industry shrinking and other factors may lead to the commercial banks’non-performing loans and bad rate continues to rise, bank credit risk management will inevitably face huge challenges. To study and improve the credit risk management, will have a great significance for China’s commercial banks’Survival and healthy development, and this paper is based on this background to research.With the perspective of bank workers, in close connection with the current macroeconomic policy and the development state of the industry, through the investigation, statistical analysis,empirical research, and other research methods, and the summarization of related concepts and theories of credit risk, the problems and causes of credit risk management of X bank of Shaanxi province branch was analyzed, and put forward the optimization scheme and implement guarantee measures to improve its credit risk management.This paper includes six parts. The first part is introduction, mainly introduced the research background, ideas and methods, main content and framework, as well as the contribution. The second part is related literature review, summarized the credit risk and credit risk management from the concept, characteristic and classification of credit risk, the meaning of credit risk management, management strategy and management theory, and gave a introduction and evaluation of the dynamic domestic on credit risk management research. This part is for theoretical basis, provided a research basis for the study of the below, also laid a solid theoretical basis. The third part is the credit risk management situation and problems of X bank of Shaanxi province branch, first, the introduction of Shaanxi branch; Second, introduced the X bank credit risk management status in Shaanxi branch from risk preference and asset quality, organization structure, processes and tools; third,the problems of credit risk management of X bank of Shaanxi province branch was put forward, including the risk management organizational structure, credit decision-making mechanism, credit risk internal control and team construction; forth, the problems and causes of credit risk management of X bank of Shaanxi province branch was analyzed from internal and external factors. The fourth part is optimization design for X branch’s credit risk management system. First determined the optimization principle, and then proposed a optimization design from the risk management organizational structure, credit decision-making mechanism, credit risk internal control and team construction.The fifth part is the guarantee measures of the optimization design, according to the existing problems of X branch’s credit risk management, proposed five aspects safeguards combined with the optimization design:to strengthen the credit culture construction, perfect the credit management system, strengthen the implementation of post-loan management, strengthen the integration of information resources, and strengthen the credit personnel incentive appraisal. Part 6 conclusions, put forward the research conclusion of this paper, and the further research problems are described.
