A Study On The Influence Of Major Shareholders' Intention On The Choice Of Return Path To A Share

Stormer Player,as the first China concept stock that demolishes VIE structure and lands the A-share market,limited up after it returned to the A-share market,there by attracting more and more China concept stock companies to return to the A-share market.In general,the method to return to the A-share market is privatization and then IPO or backdoor listing.While the Home Inn chose the privatization,and at the same time to merger directly into the A-share listed company called Travel Hotel.This return method greatly simplifies the return steps in the stock,and it is much easier and faster compared with the traditional method.Actually,the major shareholder-Travel Hotel plays a very important role in helping Home Inn returning to the A-share market in this way.The study on the choice of Home Inn return method provides a new return way for other companies that want to return to A-share market,which is of great significance for these companies.There are many factors influencing the choices of return path in Chinese stock market.In this paper,I chose the major stockholders'intention as the factor to study how it influenced the return method to the A-share market.First of all,this paper summarizes the cases about China concept Stock Returning to A Share in recent years,compares the traditional regression path with the non-traditional regression path,and summarizes the theoretical framework of the influence of major shareholders' intention on A-share return.In the case study section,this paper takes the case of A-share hotel as a research object,to further the study how the major shareholders' intention influence the choices of A-share return route.For example,except the premium valuation,the main purpose of Travel Hotel is mainly for the integration of the industry chain.What is innovative in this paper is to combine the intentions of major shareholders with the path choices of returning to the A-share market.Through the case study,in which the Home Inn returned to the A-share market successfully,the paper analyzes the factors that affect the path choices of returning to the A-share market.The Home Inn's return path is relatively creative.As the businesses of Travel Hotel were in the bottleneck and the management planned to change their strategies,the Home Inn could finally be able to return to the A-share market in this way.However,this case may not apply to all companies which want to return to the stock market,but it still has some references.
