After the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Socialistic market economy system has been gradually established. With the developments of economy,a mass of rural labor forces flow from the primary industry to the secondary industry and the tertiary industry, which benefits the improvement of labor productivity, the optimization of industrial structure, the development of labor market and the improvement of economic modernization. Therefore,it is necessary to further promote the flow of rural labor forces.Although the government and some scholars believe that nearly 200 million rural labor forces need to transfer to non-agricultural industry,it is difficult to further promote the flow of rural labor forces under the condition that a large number of rural labor forces have flowed out of primary industry.Given the above situation,it is necessary to further study the influencing factors of rural labor forces and confirm the influencing degree of every factor. Then we can take corresponding measures to further promote the flow of rural labor forces. In this paper, the labor flow means the rural labor forces transfer from primary industry to secondary and tertiary industry. This paper includes the following five parts:The first part is the introduction, which includes the research backgrounds, the research significance, the research methods, the innovation points and the deficiencies. The second part is the literature review. On the one hand, the writer reviews the classical theories of labor mobility and briefly makes a comment on them.On the other hand, the writer unscrambles and summarizes the research results about labor mobility of domestic scholars, which provides theoretical supports for the paper. The third part is the situations of Chinese rural labor mobility.Firstly, the course of rural labor mobility is divided into three stages according to the overall trends of labor mobility since 1949.Secondly,the paper analyzes the current situations of rural labor mobility, which includes the scale, the forms, the policy environment and other relevant characters. The fourth part is the empirical analysis on the influencing factors of rural labor mobility.Firstly, the paper analyzes the factors from different perspectives including the economic aspects, the urbanization level and the investments in human capital. Then the paper takes into qualitative analysis on the above factors according to the traditional economic theories.Secondly, the econometric model is constructed based on the qualitative analysis, then the writer uses econometrics views to take data processing and get the regression equation. Finally,by means of the equation, the writer analyses the relative influencing degree of every factor. The fifth part is the corresponding policy recommendations according to the empirical analysis. In order to further propel rural labor mobility, the following measures should be adopted.Firstly, the compulsory education in rural areas should be implemented and the vocational training should be pointed and improved, which is in favor of better adapting to the job requirements.Secondly,by means of pushing forward the new-type urbanization, the government would create more conditions for rural labor mobility and its urbanization. Finally, the tertiary industry should be promoted further,in order to take full advantages of absorbing labor forces to further promote the rural labor mobility.
