Disruptive technology entrepreneurship is based on the mode of disruptive innovation.The process of disruptive technology entrepreneurship is on the basis of enough,simpler,cheaper and more convenient technology,to launch new products or services to the low-end markets or new markets as the representative of the non-mainstream markets at first,break the existing market structure,and achieve subversion or partial replacement of industry.In developing countries such as China,India,with huge "low-end" or "non-consumer" groups,the bottom of the consumption structure in Pyramid provideshigh-quality market resources for disruptive technology entrepreneurship.As a result,the start-up companies in developing countries can gain the backward advantage and effectively achieve leapfrog growththrough the disruptive technological entrepreneurship.In the context of transitional economy in China,the combination of the alliance has become a partial replacement of the formal system.And alliance portfolio contributes to enhancing the innovation performance of enterprises.The existing research is more focused on the context of large enterprises carrying out technological innovation activities,but the study of technology entrepreneurship and new venture situations is fewer;Alliance portfolio research on technology innovation and entrepreneurial performance is limited to case studies,but the quantitative research is still less.At the same time,many scholars study the static characteristics of the alliance portfolio,and pay less attention to the dynamic evolution of the alliance portfolio.Therefore,it is difficult for the existing theory to effectively guide the start-ups to fully construct and leverage the allianceportfolio for achieving disruptive technology entrepreneurship.Technological entrepreneurship is the process of identifying and developing technological opportunities,and then conducting new product development and business creation.Technology management capability has a significant role in entrepreneurial performance and new product development performance.Enhancing the cooperation and exchange with customers,suppliers,universities,research institutions and others can conducive to information search,external technology acquisition,shorteningproduct development time,reducing development risk and inter organizational learning in the process of technology management.Consequently,from the perspective of technology management,we explore the impact of alliance portfolio on disruptive technology entrepreneurial performance.Firstly through longitudinal single case study of thedisruptive technology entrepreneurial process in the A company,this paper explores the dynamic evolution of disruptive technology entrepreneurship andspecific impact mechanism ofentrepreneurial process,and analyze dynamic evolution characteristics of alliance portfolio about the relationship quality,scaleand diversity indifferent stages of disruptive technology entrepreneurship.The research shows that the alliance portfolio can have an influence on the technology entrepreneurial performance through the effect of resources,strategies and organization structure.And the technology management capability is more prominent in thedisruptive technology entrepreneurial performance in the aspects of information search and selection,execution of product development strategies and organization learning.Then,from the perspective of technology management capacity,this paper constructsthe study model and theoretical hypotheses ofthe effect of alliance portfolio on disruptive technology entrepreneurship,based on the 119 start-ups data to carry out our empirical research.The results shows that the alliance portfolio scale,relationship quality and diversity have no direct significant effect on disruptive technology entrepreneurial performance;but alliance portfolio scale and relationship quality can enhance the ability of enterprise technology management;Technology management capability has a positive effect on disruptive technology entrepreneurial performance.In other words,there are the following two paths that can improve disruptive technology entrepreneurial performance:first,the scale of alliance portfolio contributes to the promotion of entrepreneurial performancethrough technology management capability;second,alliance relationship quality can enhance disruptive technology entrepreneurial performance through technology management capability.And the influence of the alliance portfolio diversity on the technology management ability is not significant in the situation of disruptive technology entrepreneurship.The study expands the alliance portfolio theory,disruptive technology entrepreneurship theory,in order to provide some suggestions and reference for disruptive technology entrepreneurship practice.
