The Research On Management Policies Of Hohhot Living Garbage Under The Prospective Of Circular Economy

Since the 19 th century,the industrial revolution has led to the world-wide population density.As the result,the scale of cities has been expanded continuously.In addition,with the great increase of the consuming level of the citizens,the output of the urban garbage has been soaring,which also have brought the serious tasks for both the government and the workers because the complex of the garbage composition;the difficulty of collection and transportation;the difficulty of processing.Therefore,if people don’t take some reasonable methods to solve these,it will have a serious impact on the outlook of the cities,environment and be harmful for both physically and mentally.Garbage problem has been bothering the continuous development of many cities for dozens of years.Recently,take Hohhot,the capital city of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,as an example,taking advantages of the natural resources and geographical superiority,it has achieved a major breakthrough in the economic development.However,as the same time,it has been facing the problems such as air pollution,garbage and so on.Thus,in order to keep a beautiful and fresh outlook of the city and create comfortable surroundings for the habitants here,it is necessary for people to study and explore the reasonable measurements to everyday garbage in Hohhot.Literature research,case studies and practical investigation method are mainly used in this thesis.In addition,circular economy’s 3R principle which is trying to minimize the garbage resource,classify the garbage during the process and reduce the harm to the minimum at the end of the process is applied to explore the effective solutions to Hohhot living garbage.The thesis is mainly developed in the steps of analyzing and investigating of current situation,finding out the existing problems and the giving the corresponding solutions.Basically,the paper will consist of the three main parts.Generally speaking,all–round analysis the present situation of daily garbage and the reveal of all sorts of problems existing in each step,which is followed by the detailed introduction of garbage relating policies,managing systems and the process of dealing with garbage.Lastly,to improve the given problems,certain efficient solutions such as regulating of garbage relating laws,optimizing the managing systems,strengthen the work of lessen the garbage resources,classifying transportation of the garbage are recommended.These methods are all trying to get the efficiency in both economic and environmental.Solving the urban living garbage properly is one of the keys to achieve the sustainable development of our society in all aspects.And sincerely hope that the research will offer some theoretical reference to the sustainable development of Hohhot or other related areas.
