Trade has always served as the engine for economic growth and competition.It was the main factor of the economic strength that China enjoys today and a key factor that drove the European integration.China's accession to the World Trade Organization contributed to its economic growth and development of international trade.The EU and China benefit from robust trade granted by new opportunities that their markets offer.At the same time however,trade relations between the two partners are not free of tensions that need to be addressed if EU-China trade relations are not to be overshadowed by trade disputes rising on the horizon.With the rise of China,and constantly shape and shake the process of international affairs,Europe has entered a new chapter,in its common history,China EU relations are becoming increasingly relevant,but also more complex.Understanding these complexities requires an accurate examination of bilateral relations and benefits between the various national levels in China and EU countries.Today,European Union has been based on the common belief and common interests on the development of a full range of economic and political union,as one of the world's three largest economy and the rules of international trade major makers,has an important position in the field of international trade.EU is one of China's most important trading partners,with China's economic and trade relations are increasingly close,its policy toward China's economic and trade development of a significant impact on.Therefore,whether it is from the study of Sino-EU relations or from the perspective of the development of European Economic and trade relations,systematic and in-depth study on China-EU economic and trade situation and the EU's trade policy has important theoretical value and practical significance.This thesis from the history and theory of international relations is explained from two perspectives,two macro and micro level,the system examines the EU China trade policy evolution,especially focuses on the EU's trade policy since 1990s and on,essence and current development trend and strive to accurately grasp the characteristics,the EU China trade policy,analyzes the specific problems in China EU economic and trade relations,and put forward some countermeasures,so as to formulate and adjust the China to provide a basis for EU trade policy.This paper includes five parts:The first part briefly explains the basic situation of the EU's foreign trade policy and current trade situation for the past decade in developing EU countries,including the concept,main content,development process,as discussed in depth;The second part outlines the development process of Europe's economic and trade relations for the past decade,with specific data as the basis,focus on the objective the situation of Sino-EU trade for the recent years that have left significant results and improvements into import and export trade changes and structure,the importance and benefits of being a member of World Trade Organization,an analysis of EU's main policy documents related to the economic and trade affairs content,and then discusses the main characteristics of the EU China;The third part of the application of constructivism,geo economic theory,China's opening to the world and international trade,Foreign Trade Agreement,an overview of recent trade and investment trends,Bilateral economic relation,advantages and disadvantages,from the perspective of international relations;The fourth part focuses on locating Britain in a new geo-political and economic position.The UK's new position should constitute a relationship with the EU that largely centers on trade,whilst also liberating Britain to implement independent trading arrangements with the rest of the world.Brexit would impact on the position of both the UK and the EU in the world.In economic terms this would be most evident in trade policy.While the UK would likely be free to strike new trade deals based on domestic priorities it would have less leverage and be a lower priority than the EU for other countries.The fifth part discusses the existence of China EU trade and economic development,moving to a strategic partnership and new coming projects and rules that both China and EU should work for in order to better partnership.The importance of SMEs expanding in China and bringing new solutions for trade growth.The fifth chapter is about factors that predict the future orientation of the EU's trade policy towards China,and puts forward some feasible suggestions on the principles and specific policies of China to the European Economic and trade.
