In recent years, the petrochemical production system has gotten a rapid development in production capacity, the complexity of the process and the level of information technology, while the changing market demand and stringent environmental requirements putting forward higher requirements. The supply chain system puts the suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and market customers of the production networks together, which could promote the exchange of production information between enterprises to help enterprises make better production decisions and build multi-enterprise integrated optimization system. However, such a synergetic operation between facilities is only available in few conglomerate corporations with coordinated manufacturing systems. In view of the existing research difficulties, this paper integrates the core production factors such as production information, production equipment, plan, benefit and risk among petrochemical enterprises, and builds the collaborative optimization model in order to increase the production value and economic benefits of supply chain.First of all, this paper presents a method of integrated modeling for the problems of system integration and production capacity, and establishes an integrated optimization mathematical model based on MILP.Besides, with the further expansion of application scenarios and the increasing number of manufacturers involved in collaborative optimization,a petrochemical enterprise resource sharing model has been proposed, too. The resource sharing model can share the redundant production resources of the petrochemical enterprises supply chain,so as to enhance the utilization ratio of resources and increase the economic benefits in the supply chain. The main contents are presented as follows:(1)Firstly,this paper summarizes the research field and development status of petrochemical enterprise supply chain management(SCM)and enterprise-wide optimization(EWO).The consensus between academia and industry is that EWO is one of the most important directions for petrochemical enterprise supply chain research and industrial application.Through the integration and sharing of information and resources, enterprises can increase the utilization rate of resources and increase of economic benefits.(2)Secondly,this paper presents an integrated optimization model based on mixed integer linear programming(MILP).Under certain premises, the optimization model is suitable for collaborative optimization among petrochemical enterprises, and includes the construction method of the integrated production system and the optimization decision mathematic model of the production plan. The case studies independently operating refinery and olefins plant, and takes into account the production benefits of integrated production optimization and independent production under three different initial market conditions:normal, depressed and active marketing demands.Case study shows that the integration optimization among the petrochemical enterprises will help optimize the allocation of resources, reduce storage costs and enhance the enterprise's ability to respond to market demand,so as to increase the total production benefits.(3)Thirdly,this paper presents resources sharing model for petrochemical enterprises supply chain. The resource sharing model can get rid of the restriction of geographic location and support the flexible reconfiguration of the production resources in the supply chain, which can make better use of the redundant resources in the supply chain.Simulation case show that the resources sharing model can help enterprises to quickly increase production capacity and get cost advantages when compared with self-building resources model, production outsourcing model or other production methods. Finally, the paper summarizes the existing research content and presents the promising research directions in the future.
