The Convergence And Mechanism Analysis Of The Regional Economic Growth In Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

Based on the theories of the new classical economic growth and the new economic growth,this thesis uses the classical convergent model,analyzing whether there is convergence during the long-term economic growth in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and what are the influence factors and the convergent routines about the regional economic growth,to offer policies and suggestions in order to promote the healthy development in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.First,the thesis reviews the convergent research about different regional economic growth and also classifies the documents.Based on the classification,referring to the convergent concept,the thesis reviews the new classical economic growth theory,the economic convergent mechanism theory and the new economic growth theory.Second,referring to the Gross Domestic Product per capita data and the GDP data,the thesis analyses the absolute and the relative differences in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional economy growth.The absolute difference analysis uses the range method and the standard deviation method,and the result is that the absolute difference of GDP per capita in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is growing.While the relative difference applies to the variable coefficient,the weighed average deviation and the Theil coefficient,finding that the relative difference grows in the first place and then follows the reducing trend.What's more,the thesis analyzes and proves the convergent styles in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.According to the empirical analysis,from 1996 to 2002,there exists no absolute ?-convergence or ?-convergence.But from 2003 to 2014,they appeared.And then,the thesis considers material capital,urbanization level,labor force,opening and industrial structure into the convergent test model while researching the factors of ?-convergence.And the result is that from1996 to 2014 the ?-convergence happens because of the material capital,urbanization level,labor force and opening factors while the industrial structure is not the reason.Next,the thesis researches the influential factors of economic growth in the BTH region by using the PCA and the factor analysis methods.And it proves that the regional economic growth mainly depends on the foreign business direct investment,government expenditures,urbanization level,fixed investments and industrial structure.Last,the thesis analyzes the convergent ways to improve BTH regional economy growth.In the end,the thesis provides the policies and suggestions about narrowing the regional economic difference and about the ways to promote healthy economy.
