Research On The Vertical RJV Cooperative R&D In Supply Chain Based On Market Structure And Technology Spillover

The enterprise cooperation in R&D is the inevitable way for enterprises to achieve rapid development.And the vertical R&D cooperation in supply chain is closer to the actual situation,and the study of this problem has more practical meaning.This article will focus on the comparative analysis research of the supply chain of vertical RJV cooperative R&D under two special market structure(monopoly and duopoly),and then analyze the influence of the technology spillover upstream to the vertical R&D cooperation in supply chain.Firstly,this article establishes the two-tier supply chain comprised of single monopoly suppliers and n retailers to study the vertical R&D cooperation in supply chain.The results shows that the cooperation under the monopoly suppliers damages the interests of downstream non-members manufacturers.Therefore,it introduces an upstream competitive enterprise.The results show that the introduction of upstream competition enterprise to improve the interests of downstream non-members manufacturers,and improve the social welfare.On this basis,considering the technology spillover between upstream suppliers,it establishes the two-tier supply chain comprised of two duopoly suppliers and n retailers based on technology spillover.The following conclusion is obtained by numerical simulation.Firstly,technology spillovers can raise the income of upstream supplier 2 and downstream non-members manufacturers,and reduce the income of upstream supplier 1 and downstream member manufacturers.Secondly,supplier 1 hopes that all the downstream manufacturers would be involved in the cooperative R&D,but supplier 2 and downstream manufacturers don't hope so.Finally,the technology spillovers don't affect the optimal scale of cooperation that upstream suppliers have come to expect,but the optimal scale of cooperation that downstream manufacturers have come to expect will decrease with the increase of degree of technology spillovers.Based on the above conclusion,this article determines the equilibrium degree of technology spillover and the optimal scale of cooperation,in order to maximize the overall supply chain efficiency.This article provides a scientific theory foundation for vertical RJV cooperative R&D in supply chain,and provides the beneficial reference for enterprises to grasp the laws of vertical RJV cooperative R&D in supply chain and make decisions on R&D cooperation.And this article provides a certain reference basis for the government to form a RJV macroeconomic regulation.It has a certain practical significance and research value.
