Since the reform and opening policy,China’s rapid increase in car ownership not only increased the burden of oil energy,but also brought a lot of exhaust emissions which has a serious impact on air environment in cities.Faced with these problems,our country has also made policies to support the development of the motor biofuel,in order to ease the energy and environmental crisis in China and promote the construction of ecological civilization.However,in the process of the biofuel’s production,it will also affect the environment.Consequential life cycle assessment(CLCA)has been proved to be an effective tool for assessing the sustainability of energy and related policies.In this paper,the author will use CLCA tool to evaluate the impact of the national biofuel policy on the overall environment.This paper was divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,mainly analyzes the background of this research,and summarizes the research status at home and abroad.The second chapter is the theoretical basis of LCA,including the concept,development,the technical framework and the method of LCA.In the third chapter,the author introduced two methods of life cycle assessment: CLCA and ALCA,and chosed the CLCA method,which was more suitable for the study of this paper.In the forth chapter,the structure of the three modeling methods is provided.The fifth chapter evaluates the environmental impact on the motor biofuel.The last chapter is the conclusion and prospect of the paper.This paper shows that:In our country,the research on the CLCA field is quite deficient.The conclusion of this paper proves the practicability of the CLCA tool.This paper will lay the theoretical and practical basis for the research of this field.The author hopes that this paper can cause more researchers’ attention on CLCA,and that the research of CLCA can make a breakthrough in the near future.
