Opportunities And Challenges Faced By Vietnam Textile Industry In International Cooperation

Vietnam textile is a traditional Vietnamese industry.For Vietnam,the textile industry is one of the most important industries,providing people with the necessary living goods,while solving social employment problems.In particular,the textile has advantage in exports,creates conditions to develop the national economy and balances import and export leverage.In the process of international integration,the textile industry has proved to be a "pointed" industry.In the past few years,the export amount has grown continuously,the market has expanded,and more and more workers,textile has taken up a high proportion of the whole economy of Vietnam.On the way into the world economy,Vietnam has actively participated in many organizations and free trade agreements,they are with the international scale such as the World Trade Organization WTO,Vietnam-EU,mutual agreement such as Vietnam-US,the most important is in 2015,Vietnam officially joined Trans Pacific Partnership TPP.This event has brought many advantages to Vietnam in terms of economic development,and it can speed up the pace of Vietnam’s integration into the world economy.In the whole Vietnamese economy,the textile industry is considered to have received many concessions when it joins the international integration.Although international cooperation has brought a lot of opportunities,it has also brought many challenges to the industry.Vietnamese government departments should recognize the situation as soon as possible,seize this opportunity,reform and open up in order to meet the international requirements,and make the Vietnamese economy,especially the textile industry,catch up with the world’s textile industry.This paper starts from the perspective of Vietnames textile,introduce the development of Vietnam textile industry,based on how Vietnamese textile is influenced by world change,and then starts from reality,the impact,opportunities and challenges before and after international integration,since then proposed developing textile industry countermeasures.
