The modern production system has changed from the industrial economy to the knowledge economy production system.Thus the core role of human capital to the enterprise has become more and more prominent.The researches on human capital of domestic scholars are still focused on the research of large enterprises and are usually limited to a certain type of human capital.This paper will focus on the small and medium-sized enterprise human capital and make a systematic study on different types of human capital of 61 SME board listed companies.This research enriches the study of domestic human capital empirical researches,providing empirical support for the development of human capital theory.At the same time,the author put forward some suggestions on the practice of human resources management of small and medium-sized enterprises for improvement.So this paper has certain theoretical and practical value.First of all,the author defines the concept of human capital,enterprise human capital and enterprise performance.Then the author summarizes the measurement methods of enterprise human capital and enterprise performance and select the appropriate measurement methods for this paper.Secondly,the author systematically summarizes the theories of human capital and firm performance,which lays a good theoretical foundation for the empirical part of this study.After summarizing many domestic and foreign empirical researches on the relationship of enterprise human capital and enterprise performance,the author mainly analyses empirical conclusions,human capital measurement method and statistical analysis method of these literatures and uses their research ideas,research methods and empirical conclusions as reference for this study.Refer to the existing data and other materials,the author focuses on the analysis of the current situation of human capital of listed companies on SME board in the third chapter,including introduction of SME,the characteristics of the human capital of listed companies and statistical analysis of these human capital.In the part of empirical analysis,the author puts forward the initial model and hypotheses of this research according to the existing theories and models.On this basis,the author uses correlation analysis and stepwise regression analysis method to test the relationship between different types of human capital and enterprise performance.The empirical results show that the small and medium-sized enterprise general human capital and technical human capital have no significant correlation with enterprise performance.Managerial human capital is negatively correlated with enterprise performance.Innovative human capital is positively related to enterprise performance.Finally,based on the empirical results,the analysis of conclusions and the actual situation of SMEs in China,the author puts forward some suggestions for human capital management of small and medium-sized enterprises,including establishing the transfer mechanism among different types of human capital,enhancing corporate soft power to attract talent and strengthening the construction of innovative human team.
