Construction Of Semantic Ontology For Consulting Project Knowledge

Consulting Service is one of the typical Knowledge Intensive Business Services,and knowledge service is in the centre of consulting service.Consulting service consists of collecting,processing,integrating,reproducing,spreading,manipulating and updating on knowledge.Consulting Project is divided into several phrases,during each phrase,knowledge producing and reproducing are conducted by professional knowledge workers,including industrial experts and consulting professors.Knowledge,which functions as the production elements,is collected from both internal and external,parts of the knowledge resource are explicit,while the others are implicit.The analysis of knowledge shortage brings two kinds of knowledge shortage problems,based on these two problems,namely knowledge locating and recognizing,knowledge network theory is tested to prove its advantages on addressing the problems above and improving the knowledge-acquiring ability.The knowledge services during the consulting project is highly complicated,and the consulting business process is calling for high professional operation.Researches in the field of consulting service were conducted from the views of different disciplines,especially from the knowledge engineering area,researchers attempt to use advanced knowledge representation tools,in order to develop a feasible knowledge system for consulting service,which is contributed to support the knowledge sharing and manipulating in the organization.The paper reviews recent researches on knowledge services,and recalls multiple knowledge representation methods,while knowledge network theory and ontology were analysed in the context of consulting service.Knowledge service theory is used to conclude the characters of consulting services,and the knowledge network theory is manipulated to analysis and locate the knowledge resource from cases,project and manpower.After comparing of several knowledge representation methods,ontology was chosen to work as a modelling tool,which is used to build the ontology model of consulting service project.The ontology model passed the reasoner test and was tested by Jena Fuseki to prove its remarkable searching ability within the data of the ontology model.
