Due to the downward trend in China's chemical industry,the stable and sustainable development of the chemical companies is faced with increasingly grave challenges.How to standardise the way of managing accounts receivable and implement an effective credit policy is strategically and realistically important for them to maintain the stability of cash,guarantee the financial security and realise the sound development.Based on the previous research into the way of managing accounts receivable of an chemical enterprise and clients' credit policy,this dissertation aims to formulate relevant credit policy,perfect the management of the accounts receivable of the enterprise and make an solution for the internal control through analysing the problems in the accounts receivable,exploring and discussing the methods of clients' s risk measurement,building an model of the clients' risk measurement and rating their credit.The first chapter is introduction,mainly explaining the background,research value,research content and methodology of this dissertation and the status quo of this research home and abroad.The second chapter is to analyse relevant theories on accounts receivable,mainly interpreting the relevant management methods of accounts receivable,theories on risk management and credit policy.The third chapter is a case study,introducing the basic information on a chemical enterprise,the analysis of the status quo and the current management policy of the accounts receivable,a comparison between this enterprise and others in the chemical industry,and other issues related to accounts receivable.The fourth chapter is to introduce the methods of credit risk measurement,i.e.comparative analysis of the up-to-date mainstream methods of risk measurement,the reasons for choosing a suitable model of credit risk measurement for this enterprise and the introduction to the application of relevant models of risk measurement.The fifth chapter is to introduce the model applied to this enterprise for the case study,its gaining credit rating of the client enterprises and the relevant credit policy formulated by this enterprise.The sixth chapter is suggestions for improving the management methods of the accounts receivable and internal control of the enterprise.
