In recent years,the outbreak of a series of major cases,making risk management more and more attention by financial institutions.There are three main risks for commercial banks in China,namely,market risk,credit risk and operational risk.The sustained,healthy and stable operation of banks can not do without effective risk management.The operational risk of commercial banks refers to the risk of loss caused by imperfect or problematic internal procedures,employees and information technology systems,as well as external events in the daily operations of commercial banks.Operational risk arises in the presence of commercial banks,however,due to its inherent,hidden features,the financial sector has not been sufficient attention.Since 1990 s,the loss of operational risk cases happened frequently in the banking industry,and caused huge economic losses,these cases have been banking on the management of operational risk and pay no attention to the vulnerabilities exposed.On the other hand,it also caused the attention of regulators and practitioners to the operational risk,and the research of operational risk management gradually developed.The market risk and credit risk management technology has been quite mature,compared with the operational risk of commercial banks is still insufficient.Based on the above background,on the basis of the research on the operational risk of commercial banks,this paper sums up the current situation of operational risk through the statistical analysis of operational risk events of 2001-2015 in china.The study of operational risk of commercial banks in China in recent years the typical analysis,it is found that the main problems of operational risk management in commercial banks,analyze the causes and characteristics of the phenomenon,finally to internal control framework,provide meaningful and workable countermeasures and suggestions for the development of China's commercial banks operational risk management.To effectively reduce the operational risk of commercial banks in China.
