| West Papua is a border province of Indonesia,with economic development lagging at the national level.FakFak Regency is an important city in West Papua,where about 50%of the population is engaged in agriculture.Agriculture is one of the main sources of local income.But the problem that farmers’ income is low and the standard of living can not be improved has always existed.It is necessary to systematically analyze the income sources,income structure and factors that affect the income of local farmers.The basis of this paper is the work of the 2015 Indonesian Fakfak regency local government on the economy and the survey of farmer’s income statistics.From the survey results,the income of local farmers mainly rely on agricultural output,wage income accounted for very little,and low agricultural income has led to the low level of total income of farmers.At the same time limited by the local infrastructure construction backward,some areas of farmers have no monetary income because of Self-sufficient.The qualitative analysis shows that the factors that may affect the income of the family are:the number of laborers engaged in agriculture,the cost of agricultural production,the education level of the agricultural population,the classification of agricultural projects and the gender of the family master.After determining the specific variables that represent these factors.Through the statistical analysis of SPSS and the multiple linear regression analysis of Stata,this paper quantitatively studies the effect of these variables on farmers’ income.There are many predecessors in the agricultural case worthy of reference,on the basis of empirical analysis,for several important influencing factors,put forward to improve the Farmers income recommendations. |
