Along with the development of economic and the diversification of investment subjects,more and more companies do business in many fields,and they always have projects which are cross-industry,cross-regional and cross-group.Different enterprises take themselves together to become a group and expand unceasingly in the management level and the management scope by the way of holding stock rights.Group Company has become an important part of the national economy.Because of the advantages of scale management and strong capital strength,Group Companies are the major target customers of commercial banks.Thus,commercial banks need to strive for Group Companies,and also need to take the new challenge to control the group customers'credit risk.Bank of JT Suzhou branch is one of the earliest commercial banks in Suzhou.Hence,Bank of JT has accumulated rich experiences in group customer relationship maintenance and credit risk management.But there still have some problems in the whole process of credit initiating,examination and approval the loan and the review after the loan.It is necessarily to make some changes to suit the new condition for Bank of JT Suzhou branch.This paper takes the credit risk management in Bank of JT Suzhou branch on Group Companies as the empirical research object.After summarizing the domestic and foreign commercial bank credit risk management theories,this paper sums up the existing group customer credit risk control system,and the problems laying on the system.On the basis of these summaries,this paper proposes the optimization scheme of credit risk management system on Group Companies for commercial banks.The scheme is concerned on the three management process from credit initiating,examination and approval the loan and the review after the loan.To strengthen the optimization,the paper also promotes four administrative measures including promoting the construction of group customer management information system,specialized team building,implementing credit regulation and building risk Coping Mechanism.This paper can not only optimize the credit risk management in Bank of JT Suzhou branch on Group Companies to reduce the customer credit risk,but also provide the basis for the reform in the credit risk management on Group Companies in the whole Bank of JT.Also the paper provide a case for other banks on the group risk management.
