The Contribution And Potential Of Tourism Employment In Jiangsu Province To Social Employment

Tourism employment is the common focus of government and scholars.It is not only of great importance to the research of tourism,but also an important part of the whole employment of the society.Tourism employment pays a huge contribution to the whole employment of the society.With the rapid development of tourism in Jiangsu Province,tourism exerts great positive effects on economy and culture.Comprehensively using the theoretical and practical methods,the article aims to make a survey of the current situation and quality of tourism employment in Jiangsu Province and an analysis of the contribution that tourism employment makes in the whole employment of society in Jiangsu Province,then,on the basis,the author tend to predict the potential of tourism employment in Jiangsu Province and accordingly propose some measures to promote the tourism employment in Jiangsu Province.The article hopes the results of the research could be useful to the measures that the government made to enlarge the tourism employment.The article systematically settles related theories and researches and defines the relevant concepts.Firstly,it analyzed the quantity and the distribution of star-restaurants,scenic spots and other tourism-related companies of Jiangsu Province.According to the results of the questionnaire survey related the quality of tourism employment,the article evaluated the quality of tourism employment in Jiangsu Province.What’s more,the article discussed the absorptive ability of tourism employment in Jiangsu Province.Secondly,on the basis of the data from 2004 to 2014 from Jiangsu Statistical Yearbook and Year book of China Tourism Statistics,the article used the whole contribution degree of tourism employment,the contribution degree of inbound tourism,the contribution degree of domestic tourism analysis the tourism contribution of Jiangsu Province in a round.Lastly,adopting the method of Deviationingredient,the article predicted the potential of tourism employment in Jiangsu Province in the future from 2015 to 2020.Based on all the qualitative and quantitive analys,the article says the absorptive capacity and influence ability is great in Jiangsu Province,which makes enlarging the whole employment through developing the tourism a good measure.The contribution degree of tourism employment to the whole employment is high,the top one is 15.88%,that means every 6 whole employment including 1 related to tourism.Sadly,the distribution of three kind of businesses is imbalanced,the employment in star restaurants covers big share,while that in travel agency is slim.The whole evaluation of tourism quality is a little bad,which calls for in time improvement.In the future,it can adopt some measures to promote the tourism employment in Jiangsu Province.It can enlarge the scale of tourism,in this way driving the scale of tourism employment;optimizing the construction of tourism and improving the construction of tourism employment is a wise idea;also,through increasing investment in tourism talents in order to balance the distribution of tourism businesses is effective;in the meantime,it should constantly improve the related employment measures and enhance the careerist social status of tourism employment.
