A Research On The Impact Of Mobile Internet Usage On Individual Social Capital

Individual action in modern society is not only dominated by money capital, but also by the impact of social capital. Social capital is embedded in the individual social network which can provide assistance to individuals of various types of resources in general, determines the efficiency of a person's actions. The most important means to obtain personal social capital is to participate in the interaction of social network,expand the social network constantly, and tap the resources available in the social network.Mobile Internet completely broke the traditional telecom network and desktop Internet on time and place restrictions, a dramatic impact on human social network participation, affecting the personal social capital access. Therefore, it is very meaningful to explore the mechanism of the use of mobile Internet, the use of efficiency, the use of strength on the impact of personal social capital is a very meaningful study.Based on the introduction of social capital related theories and the related research results of mobile Internet usage behavior, drawing on Linnan's theory of the formation of individual social capital, this paper designs the research model of mobile Internet using individual social capital which affects personal social network and then influences individual social capital. And analyze the three variables of mobile internet, personal social network and individual social capital in the model and their measurement. The social network status can be measured from three aspects: the width of social network, the intensity of social relations and the frequency of social network interaction; the social capital of individuals can be measured from the perspective of the tools,such as the use of tools, the use of social networks, type social capital and the performance of social capital in two aspects of measurement. On the basis of this, this paper collects more than 200 valid samples through the survey questionnaire, and analyzes the influence of mobile internet on individual social network and individual social capital. The results show that the use efficiency and intensity of mobile Internet has significant influence on individual and social network status and individual social capital have positive effects on individual social capital, but the influence direction and influence degree of social network strength, social network width and social network interaction frequency are also positive Influence,in which the strength of social relations on the impact of individual social capital is the most significant.This study can help people understand the relationship between personal behavior and social capital in the context of mobile Internet, and make more efficient use of mobile Internet to participate in social network interaction and obtain excess social capital.The innovation of this paper is as follows: firstly, it discusses the influence of mobile internet usage on individual social capital; constructs the influence model of mobile internet's use on individual social capital;designs new research variables such as intensity and efficiency of mobile Internet; A New Perspective of Research on Mobile Internet Usage Behavior.
