From Europe to China,flax as an important textile fiber in the global scope is widely used in textile processing.Frederick Duchy,the president of the European Flax and Marijuana Federation,have predicted that the world Flax industry hopes in China.In recent years,China’s export of linen products has been increasing year by year.The domestic market demand has increased with great potential.And the linen processing industry has been changing and upgrading.It has been developing rapidly in the direction of green,fashionable and high value-added.While the rapid development of the flax processing industry,there are many factors restricting the healthy and orderly development of China’s Flax processing industry.Flax processing industry has many problems in raw material source,product processing and product trade.How to solve the raw material problem? How to establish the central belt of China’s linen processing industry? Where is the market for linen products? All are urgent problems to solve.At present,Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces have become the hinterland of China’s linen processing industry.Jiaxing city is a developed city of textile processing in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces,also is an important city for the rapid development of the flax processing industry.A thorough understanding of the status quo of flax processing industry in Jiaxing,summarizing the development experience,analyzing the restrictive factors and putting forward feasible development countermeasures are of great significance to promote the development of flax processing industry in Jiaxing and china.In this paper,flax processing industry in Jiaxing city were citing as the research object,Jiaxing City residents and Jiaxing City flax processing enterprises to investigate using the field visits,questionnaire survey,research data and other forms of survey to understand the basic situation of Jiaxing City.This research summarizes the achievements and advantages of the development of flax processing industry from the aspects of raw material source,product processing and product trade,and analyze the problems in the development of flax processing industry.First,raw materials mainly rely on imports,processing products mainly rely on exports,and the beginning and end of the linen industry are conducted abroad;The second point is the development of flax products in Jiaxing;The third point is the vicious competition of the flax processing enterprises;The fourth point is the lack of government policy support in the linen processing industry.To solve the above problems,this study put forward by strengthening in the localization of raw flax breeding investment;suitable for the development of Chinese linen products,develop and expand the domestic market of linen products;specification of flax enterprises,the establishment of Jiaxing City flax Association;the support of government and other programs of flax processing enterprises to solve the current problems of flax processing industry,promote the effective development of flax industry.
