With the rapid development of world economy, in order to survive and develop better in this increasingly competitive environment, the enterprises have to promote their core competence to optimize all possible utilized resource[1]. Under this circumstance, enterprises prefer to choose outsourcing pattern, while issues from outsourcing management become more obvious day by day.XZ Company is subordinate of Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Group. This company was established in 1992, and had recombined 4 times successively to coordinate development of DSIC since 2006. At present, its factory has covered an area of 320,000 m2 and plant area of100,000 m2, owned about 550 staffs. XZ Company has become the largest shipping outfitting production and supporting enterprise, whose products cover pipe processing production,shipping unit module production, outfitting production area, etc. Meanwhile, issues from product outsourcing followed: first of all, there is no systematic analysis for product characteristics, so that product outsourcing strategy can't be formulated effectively; secondly,admittance ways of subcontractors differ from one another, production and management abilities itself are on different levels, which needs to be adjusted and integrated; third, there is no integrated system for outsourcing management in company itself, bring about overlapping management, non-unified commands and low management efficiency; at last, the company is lack in effective risk control for outsourcing management, there is no risk control measures.All above issues will take very large hidden danger for company development.Therefore, how to choose appropriate subcontractors correctly and how to manage subcontractors and outsourcing process effectively is the key point for XZ Company's continuous and healthy development. This paper is based on the background of XZ Company,do the research and analysis around those major issues from outsourcing process comparing with the related theory for product outsourcing, including confirm the outsourcing strategy by SWOT analysis method; select, evaluate and manage ways for subcontractors according to the features of enterprise products; how to manage the subcontractors and the outsourcing process effectively in all areas and how to avoid outsourcing risk effectively. In a word, through this study, to solve actual issues from product outsourcing process for XZ Company, establish outsourcing system gradually, and provide some references for enterprises that plan to execute product outsourcing or similar situation existed already.
