As now more and more manufacturing enterprises transfer from product provider to service provider,emerging technology such as Internet of things has played a great role in promoting servitization.As one of the core technology of the Internet of things,remote monitoring technology has been widely used in manufacturing in recent years.Many manufacturing enterprises provide product-services to customers based on the remote monitoring technology in the transformation of servitization.This type of service is a complement of traditional service mode and service channels.Based on this service,manufacturers are allowed to collect data of its products operation every time and control products running state and parameters.The service can provide more effective and timely maintenance and intelligent maintenance,but also improve prediction diagnosis and optimize the value of value-added services.Academia for remote monitoring service,however,still stay in the stage of qualitative research,such as remote monitoring technology research and development and application of remote monitoring service,and lack of quantitative research such as income distribution and pricing.In reality,as there is not a scientific and objective method for remote monitoring service pricing,remote monitoring service pricing has much larger subjectivity.In this paper,service management,operational service,game theory and other related theory is used to study on remote monitoring service pricing problem with different market environment,considering the responsiveness,and reliability of service quality.First of all,the related researches of remote monitoring service and service pricing are generalized.Second,process of remote monitoring service is discussed,and the idea of remote monitoring service pricing is expounded.The foundation of remote monitoring service pricing is built while service response time is used to describe service responsiveness and the compensation system is used to describe reliability.On this basis,the remote monitoring services pricing in the monopoly market and duopoly market is researched in three cases that only considering remote monitoring service responsiveness,remote monitoring service reliability and both.In the duopoly market,Nash game and Stackelberg game are discussed respectively.Maintenance service response time is used to describe service responsiveness when the model only related to responsiveness,and combination of compensation system and product quality is used to model when it is only related to reliability.When considering responsiveness and reliability,compensation system,product quality and difference between actual and commitment response time are main factors of pricing.Finally,the paper research conclusion is summarized,and the corresponding management implications are given.In this paper,the pricing model of remote monitoring service and the related research conclusion,on the one hand provides a theoretical support for further study of remote monitoring service,fill in the blank in the research of remote monitoring service pricing,and broadened the research scope of service pricing;On the other hand,this article also help manufacturing enterprises to realize the value of the remote monitoring services,to have a scientific and reasonable pricing reference of this service,and to improve customer satisfaction by increase price transparency.
