On Taylor's Management Thought From The Horizon Of Philosophy Of Technology

The "Taylorism",as the first thought of management in modern management,has a very important foundation and significance to other management theory of later generations and many of its management methods still play an important role in the specific management action.Therefore,the discussion of "Taylorism" in Management academia is never stopped.In recent days,some scholars have studied Taylor's management thought from the perspectives of philosophy of Marxism,Western philosophy of Marxism,western philosophy of humanity and philosophy of science with the rise of management philosophy in Chinese Management academia.This paper uses interdisciplinary explore to study the philosophy of “Taylorism” in the horizon of the Philosophy of Technology,and hope it could provide a new perspective for the further study of the philosophy to this classical thought.The “Taylorism” must have an internal connection with the technological system of "megamachine" because it is a management thought and system that comes into being with the industrialization of them and the relationship between man and machine,the relationship between man and technology,must constitute the ontological foundation of the Taylorism.In the author's thought,it could be possible to grasp the essence of Taylor's management thought from the ontology only from the perspective of philosophy of technology,and through the discussion of the relationship between human and technology as the relationship between human and technology has always been the core issue of philosophy of Technology.In order to make a clear analysis of the epistemology and methodology of the construction of Taylor's management ideology,and then give a new evaluation of the management philosophy from the perspective of philosophy of technology,it is necessary to be on the basis of ontology research of the “Taylorism”.Taylor system is a management theory to adjust the relationship between man and machine in factories so as to improve efficiency.What “Taylor Syste m” wants to achieve is not simply to improve the efficiency of factory production,but also to achieve the harmony of "man machine" relationship within the factory and win-win situation between employers and employees.However,be cause of the limitations of Taylor and his time,his theory did not achieve the goals but improving production efficiency.
