The multinational corporations(MNCs)developed swiftly with the accelerating process of economic globalization;they positively practice the localization strategy to adapt to different countries' situation.The 21 stcentury,China is playing a more and more significant part in international economic order.Multinational corporations regard China as an essential part of their global strategies,and launch localization strategy positively in China.A lot of multinational corporations run business well in China.This thesis synthetically utilizes the MNCs theory,the strategy management theory and localization theory,adopts literature research and case analysis,analyzes the famous MNC Siemens Company's localization strategy in China market.It gives the Chinese enterprises invested overseas and the MNCs came to invest in China to refer,and provides the theoretical and practice guide.Firstly,the thesis introduces the elementary theory about MNC localization strategy.The main part emphasizes on the history,marketing at present and localization strategy of Siemens.And then analyzes MNCs' actions of production localization,marketing localization,R&D localization,human resources localization combined with reasons and environment.At the end,the thesis provides the detail suggestions for Chinese companies which are on their way to investing overseas and practicing localization strategy.
