| The commercial bank is the main body of the modern financial system,is the backbone of China’s economic development,and therefore relatively general listed companies,corporate governance of commercial banks is more complex and difficult,and the effectiveness of corporate governance of listed commercial banks is not only related to the bank’s operating performance,for the smooth development of the whole national the economy and moderate operation also plays an important role in.With the further development of financial market and the growing maturity,commercial banks have begun to transition to the modern enterprise development,in order to cope with the increasingly fierce competition in the financial industry.Which requires commercial banks,especially the listed commercial banks to actively change the traditional management mode,the optimization of corporate governance structure,improve the system of executive compensation,improve the overall performance of commercial banks so as to better,so that it can gain the advantage in the competition.Therefore,China’s listed commercial banks face increasingly complex financial market environment and the fierce financial competition,are proposed including improving the board governance structure,perfecting corporate governance mechanism,optimize the system of executive compensation and a series of reform measures,to enhance the performance of the bank to achieve optimization measures in hopes of the actual.Therefore,this paper is based on the above research,to further study the relationship between corporate governance,executive compensation and bank performance.Firstly,according to the relevant research of domestic and foreign commercial banks corporate governance and executive compensation as the theoretical basis,design a research hypothesis,according to the relevant data of China’s listed commercial banks as research variables,through descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis and linear regression analysis and a series of research methods to conduct a comprehensive and systematic analysis on the economy the relationship between corporate governance,executive compensation and bank performance.Through empirical research,the results show that there is significant correlation between the proportion of independent directors and the board of directors of the bank performance;there is no significant correlation between the proportion of bank performance;there is a significant correlation between the first shareholder and bank performance;equity concentration had a significant negative correlation between the degree of bank performance;there is significant correlation between executive compensation and bank performance;there is a significant correlation between the proportion of managerial ownership and bank performance.In this paper,a more in-depth understanding of corporate governance and executive compensation plays an important role in the development of commercial banks and enhance the performance,but also to recognize the existence of China’s listed commercial banks governance structure and executive compensation system existing problems,and puts forward the measures to improve the optimization and improvement of unreasonable. |
