Research On The Regional Innovation Mechanism From The Perspective Of Innovation Network

Along with weak international market,and a decline in the efficiency of domestic investment,driving force of China's economy has changed from exports and investment towards consumption.In this situation,the Chinese government push forward the reform of the "supply side",advocating "popular entrepreneurship and innovation".At the same time,the new knowledge is often multidisciplinary now.In this case,the innovation network has advantage in benefit-sharing,risk-sharing,and makes the process of research more controllable,realize the complementary advantages of resources.Researching the effect of innovation network on regional innovation make sense to improve the outputting of innovation in China.Collecting the literature about regional innovation,innovation network and knowledge spillover between industries,we building the evaluation index of innovation network,and use 2005-2014 panel data of 30 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions to investigate the mechanism of innovation network's influence on the regional innovation in the perspective of high technology industry and low technology industry.First,this paper demonstrates the existence of knowledge spillover between the two kinds of industries,and analyze on whether high technology industry innovation drives low technology industry or not.On this basis,choosing the high technology industry and the low technology industry as the two network nodes,combining with the regional regression and threshold regression,we make the empirical analysis of the relationship between the innovation network and regional innovation.Study found:(1)The high technology industry can drive the development of low technology industry,this effect improves with the scaling up of high technology industry;(2)The innovation network plays a directly positive role in regional innovation,this effect weakened with the reinforcement of the innovation network;(3)The way that regional innovation network influences the regional innovation are different at different regions.At the less developed regions in network,innovation network plays a direct role in promoting the regional innovation,the spillover effect between two industries don't effect much;At the developed regions in network,innovation network promotes regional innovation indirectly by improving the level of knowledge spillover between two industries and diffusing this effect to the whole region.Finally,according to the above research finding,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions.
