Empirical Analysis On The Relationship Between Fiscal Expenditure And Economic Growth Of Guangdong Province

There are always controversies about the relationship between fiscal expenditure and economic growth,but most scholars show that fiscal expenditure does affect economic growth from both theoretical and empirical studies.As a large economy,GuangDong Province has achieved rapid development since the reform and opening-up,provincial fiscal expenditure is also expanding,but the regional gap continues to expand this process.The impact of the financial expenditure on GuangDong province and different regions of economic growth will become the focus of this paper.In this paper,the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis are combined to explore the impact of GuangDong’s fiscal expenditure on regional economic growth from perspectives and structure.Firstly,the author introduces the concept of fiscal expenditure,economic growth and the theory of economic growth,and analyzes the impact of fiscal expenditure on economic growth.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of fiscal expenditure and economic growth in Guang Dong Province and four economic regions.Finally,through the empirical analysis of fiscal expenditure and economic growth in Guang Dong Province and four economic regions,it is found that the increase of fiscal expenditure has a significant effect on the economic growth of Guang Dong Province and various economic regions,Different types of fiscal expenditure have different impacts on the regional economy,and there are obvious regional differences.On the basis of comprehensive theory,current situation and empirical analysis,this paper puts forward reasonable policy suggestions according to the present situation of GuangDong Province under the new economic situation.
