Positive Analysis Of The Relation Between Economic Growth And Revenue Increase In Guangdong Province

The relationship between economic growth and government revenue has been the subject of extensive research by many scholars in the field of financial science.With economic growth and the implementation of tax reforms in 1994,tax revenue in Guangdong Province has been increasing.For many years the growth in tax revenue has been exceeding the growth of the economy in Guangdong Province.During the period of "The 12 th Five-Year Plan",economic growth in Guangdong Province has actually declined,roughly coinciding with the economic growth shift period in 2011.Based on this,the article attempts to analyse the relationship between tax revenue and economic growth in Guangdong Province focussing on the periods before and after the economic growth shift period.In the context of economic growth shift,Guangdong Province and even the whole country was faced with new challenges.Analysis of the effect of changes in government revenue on economic growth was undertaken to establish the correlation between taxation and its impact on the industrial structure of Guangdong Province.This analysis will provide a reference point for other provinces on developing a model for sustainable economic growth with optimal levels of taxation for a more stable economic growth transition period.
