Research On Competitive Strategy Between Electric Investors And Project Contractors To Obtain Overseas Projects

In recent years,the world economy is very weak.The price of bulk commodity,raw materials,especially oil dropped.It has the unprecedented impact to countries which are export-oriented.The developed countries’ economic have not the strong growth and the globalization process is clearly hampered.Furthermore,the weak economies affect the emerging market and developing countries.The slow world economy has the phenomenon,such as “China New Normal”,the currency devaluation of India,Brazil,and Russia and so on.The world projects demand must drop significantly.The unstable regional policies suppress the growth of the contracting market.The war or tensions in the multilateral areas such as Syria and North Korea have hindered the space and speed of economic.We are worrying about the “horror” when we talk about it due to the world terrorisms and it affects the world projects labor market exchanging.At the same time,the trade protectionism rises once again and the international contractors slower their steps to the world.Some countries’ budget is very tight,some signed contracts could not put into effect,and even the credit issues make the market confused and contractors face the unprecedented risks.This thesis studies the world power market.As the contractor,in the middle of the structure of industrial chains,how to compete with the investors is the main research.Through the study of the game model,we can clearly understand the competition in the overseas projects and through the list of projects in Pakistan,Indonesia and other countries,the EPC project and IPP project comparison,in different projects the two has the different competitive advantage.Facing the tough international situation and the shrinking of the international project contracting,the Chinese contractor should learn how to adjust the developing steps and it becomes more and more serious.Chinese contractors still has a long way to go even though they have been in localization,but it is very difficult to be international.How to raise the ability in international competition and how to cooperate with the industry chains companies are both the topics in this thesis.But due to the limited time and ability,please forgive the imperfections.
