The competition of smartphone market is very fierce,enterprises are doing everything they can to occupy the market share.Through increasing investment in stores,human resources,sales promotion fee and so on by enterprises constantly,the mobile phone industry has become a "Red Sea".Each brand has a part of market share through competition rely on its own advantages.In this ever-changing,increasingly competitive industry,grasping the change and development of the mobile phone market,summarizing dominant factors of mobile phone sales,selecting a number of indicators as a foundation of sales forecasting,building sales forecasting system based on statistics and artificial intelligence are very important to mobile phone enterprises both in theory and in real world.This article reviews the research status of the prediction of mobile phone sales forecasting and other aspects researches of Samsung mobile phone both at home and abroad.The sales statuses of mobile phone industry and promotion policy are introduced.The construction scheme for mobile phone sales prediction system and the design of specific implementation steps are also determined.We use principal component analysis to analyze the chosen indicators,use statistical multiple linear regression and artificial intelligence method BP neural network to build models for researching the prediction of sales.The monthly data which are used to build the sales forecasting system and the application of the system of Samsung mobile phone sales in Hunan district in this paper come from Samsung market communication system and wind data base.The time span is from January 2014 to June 2016,there are 30 monthly data together.Combining with SPSS and MATLAB software,we can obtain the empirical results and these results are consistent with the real situation.The sales forecasting system of mobile phone has both the theoretical and realistic significance and can help management and decision maker to analyze the problems in sales processes of Samsung mobile phone in Hunan district in some degree.At the same time,our model can offer theoretical supports to management and decision maker in the processes of their production,sales and service.
