The Research On The Factors Of Environmental Information Disclosure Of Listed Companies In China

In recent years,haze,resource supply,soil erosion and other resources and environmental problems have become high-frequency topics in media reports and in people's daily life.Especially the haze,as the representative of the environmental pollution problem,quickly swept the country and even seriously threatened people's health and daily life.We were intuitively and deeply aware of the seriousness of the environmental problems.Haze is not formed within a day.In order to completely control the haze,we have to prepare for a protracted war.With China's rapid economic and social development,China's environmental problems will be more prominent.The root causes of environmental problems,formed in the economy.So the problem can be fundamentally resolved in the economy.The production and operation of enterprises are closely linked with environmental issues.Statistics show that 80% of China's environmental pollution incidents are caused by the enterprise.General mining,petrochemical,printing and other heavily polluting enterprises have the most significant impact on the environment.Enterprises,as the main body of the market economy,whether from the perspective of externalities theory or sustainable development,should take the initiative to assume the industry mission and moral responsibility of ecological environment protection.Based on the above facts,it is very valuable to actively carry out research on environmental information disclosure in environmental sensitive industries.Through the analysis of the existing literature,we found that domestic scholars have achieved some research results in the two major research areas of environmental disclosure status and impact factors.However,by carefully comparing the literature,we have found that there are many findings on single influencing factors in the study of environmental disclosure factors.In addition,in the selection of empirical research object,most of the researches have been carried out in the fields of iron and steel,chemical industry,manufacturing and printing,whereas there are few researches on the environmental information disclosure of mining enterprises.In this study,on the basis of correlation theory,taking the extractive industry as an example,the statistical model is constructed and the actuality and influencing factors of environmental disclosure of China's listed corporations are tested empirically.At last,make effective policy recommendations based on empirical results.According to the research,first,it is found that the environmental disclosure level of environmental sensitive enterprises is higher than that of other enterprises,but the overall disclosure quality is low;Second,enterprise-scale,environmental departments settings,holding,ownership concentration and listing location play important roles in the practice of enterprise environmental disclosure.Third,in practice,we can put forward some effectiveness recommendations to make better the information disclosure from the perspective of regulators and listed companies.
