Highways have always been considered the safest,fastest,and smoothest road transport facilities.Because of the rapid development of highways,it can increase road transport rates,optimize the allocation of land resources and promote regional economic development.The service area mainly serves basic users and guarantees the requirements of the expressway.Its layout and scale are part of the planning of the service area.It can be planned to serve the layout and scale of the service area so that it can meet the development requirements of the expressway network,and then drive the improvement of the entire expressway system.The development and construction of expressway service areas in China is still immature.Planning and design are mostly based on subjective determinations,and there is a lack of uniform standards and standards.In the planning and design of the service area scale,many rely on the calculation methods used by foreign scholars or institutions.However,due to inconsistencies in the development level of the service area and the status quo of the expressway at home and abroad,the calculation methods used abroad have applications in China.Certain limitations.The scale of the expressway service area will be influenced by a number of factors,which will affect the planning,design,and construction of the entire service area.At present,the study of these factors at home and abroad is to model,analyze,and predict pure mathematics.The accuracy of model prediction mainly depends on the accuracy of the underlying data.The absence or destruction of data will affect the prediction accuracy.The computational process of existing models relies heavily on historical data,and the determination of some parameters is influenced by subjective factors.Without theoretical basis,it can not satisfy the nonlinear and uncertain characteristics of highway networks.Based on the existing problems in the existing research,this paper first analyzes the influencing factors of the scale parameters of the service area of the expressway,determines the relevant parameters in the study,and then compares and analyzes the advantages of the method for determining the scale parameters of the expressway service area at home and abroad.Concerning the shortcomings and limitations,a scale-based parameter based on wavelet neural network was proposed and a prediction model of vehicle entry rate in expressway service areas based on wavelet neural network was constructed.Finally,take the ShiAn section service area of G4 as an example.Accuracy test results show that the model has accuracy and operability.
