Investigation Report On Collection And Management Of Individual Income Tax In Lengshuitan District Of Yongzhou City

The individual income tax has become increasingly important in the tax system,the importance of the collection and management has been highlighted.The individual income tax chooses the individual income as the target.It needs the taxpayers have a higher income level and knowledge structure,and it also needs the tax authority has a stronger ability of tracking.Therefore,the collection and management of individual income tax perform better in the developed cities,in the relatively backward areas of economic development,there is still much room for improvement.With the development of the individual income tax reform,the tax collection and management will have a continuously increasing requirement.Yongzhou city’s economy of scale and the income level of residents rank below average in Hunan province,but with the region’s real estate industry booming in recent years,the economy has developed by leaps and bounds,the growth of GDP and tax revenue rank the forefront of the province.The economic development of Lengshuitan District mainly depends on the real estate industry,but the average level of individual income is lower than other areas.In recent years,the residents of the district put their surplus income to invest in housing market and stock market gradually,and the types of their earning forms become more and more diverse.The tax revenue in this district also presents the similar characteristics with the economy here,mainly supported by the real estate industry.The collection and management of individual income tax here have the local characteristics.This report investigates the individual income tax administration in Lengshuitan District of Yongzhou City by three methods.By analyzing the data from three aspects,I find that there are so many measures to be used and I also explore the innovation and disadvantages in the local tax administration.I put forward the suggestions for the local individual income tax management in the current environment after discovering the reasons.Finally,I conclude that the potential of individual income tax in Lengshuitan District is huge,but we need to improve the efforts of management.In order to promote the development of individual income tax,we need to improve the management from the perspective of legislation and other aspects,especially the information collection and analysis.Many experiences here can be learned as well.
