| Embedding in global value chain division of labor is an important source of power,the growth of manufacturing gradually formed and the rapid development of global value chain in China,GVC broke the country's independence and integrity.It has brought unprecedented opportunities for our country manufacturing development.However,although the rapid development of foreign trade and the achievement of the world's second largest manufacturing economy,our country have to face rising costs and the limitation of resources and environment restriction at the same time.Continuing to develop the low-end trade and create trade simply cannot satisfy our country's needs of the foreign trade from large to strong.Under the background of innovation,promoting transformation and upgrading of our country's foreign trade and manufacturing technology,realizing the task of total factor productivity improvements and climbing the value chain is imminent.So,what kind of productivity effect on manufacturing when our country embedding the global value chain?What factors will affect the productivity of the global value chain effect?How the government and the enterprise itself play a positive role after inserting into global value chain?These problems are worth further discussing.Based on combing the global value chain embedded level affect of the total factor productivity mechanism on the basis of enterprise in 2000-2007.Matching China Annual Surveys of Industrial Firms and China Customs Trade Statistics trade database as samples,by measuring the degree of global value chain embedded measure enterprise foreign export value added rate and demonstration the manufacturing enterprises productivity effect of inserting into global value chain in our country.By using the balance method based on entropy weighted least-squares regression and the system of generalized moment estimation method,we can control the sample selective errors and the effect of endogenous problems caused by the cause and effect.Results show that:(1)After inserting into global value chain,Chinese manufacturing enterprises' productivity will have a significant effect,the effect is a result of the combined action of spillover effects,learning effects,scale effect and competition effect under the global value chain.(2)If the enterprise inserte or continue embedding into global value chain is newly,total factor productivity will be obviously approved.If enterprises exits from the global value chain,the total factor productivity is not approved obvious or even decline.(3)The degree of embedded in global value chain to the total factor productivity is the influence of "inverted U"effect.(4)The productivity effect of global value chain in domestic enterprises,general trade,capital intensive and technology intensive enterprises is the most significant,while the effect is not significant in a foreign capital enterprise,processing trade enterprises and labor-intensive enterprises.Secondly,by further analyzing the influencing factors of productivity effect of global value chain,founding that increases with the increment of the strength of their own research and development and the government to increase the subsidies strength are of global value chain productivity effect which have a significant role in promoting.The productivity effect of the value chain of global path can be summarized as follows:the manufacture enterprises is embedded into global value chain?spillover effect and learning effect?research and development and the government subsidies on spillover effect?learning effect of the reinforcement to achieve technological progress?the ascension of total factor productivity".More detaily:The influence R&D intensity of productivity of the global value chain effect in the processing trade enterprises and technology-intensive enterprises are significant,but the general trade,labor intensive and capital intensive enterprises do not have a significant impact.The influence R&D intensity of productivity of the global value chain effect in private and foreign-funded enterprises,general trade and technology intensive enterprises are significant,but the processing trade enterprises,labor-intensive and capital-intensive enterprises do not have a significant impact.Finally,how to encourage the manufacturing enterprises to insert into global value chain of the division of labor in our country,to promote enterprise technology progress and the improvement of total factor productivity,and,and to put forward the corresponding policy recommendations by breaking through value chain of the"low-end locking... |
