Research On Effects Of Outward Direct Investment From Anhui Province

Since the reform and opening up,China has made great achievements in international cooperation.The form of economic and trade cooperation are no longer limited to import and export trade.The ODI and FDI programs has made huge progress.However,the export trade is becoming more difficult,as the complicated international environment,strict trade barriers,reemerging of trade protectionism.Therefore,the 'bringing in' and 'going out' of the enterprises have become an important way for China to reintegrate into the global economic globalization,and the outward direct investment has become a vital mean for China to conduct its global strategy.With the continuous study and absorption of the past decades and the continuous development of international cooperation,the outflow of foreign direct investment in China has reached a new high in 2015.The first time it has exceeded its own inflow of foreign direct investment,it is the first time to become a net investment abroad,and China's outward direct investment in foreign countries has entered a new historical stage.Many small and medium-sized enterprises choose to go abroad to explore international markets.However,China's "going out" strategy is not roses all the way.In the case of Chinese enterprises adapting to the environment of overseas investment and choosing to carry out outward foreign direct investment programs,the issues are gradually exposed,such as the weak awareness of overseas risk prevention and the blindness of investment.In order to cope with these problems,the Chinese government has issued relevant policy guidance,strengthened supervision over overseas investment,and further standardized the overseas investment of enterprises.The Chinese government has begun to focus on scale and quality at same time.Similarly,in recent years,affected by the upsurge of overseas investment,Anhui enterprises are also eager to try to make a difference in the international market,but they are limited to the geographical position and the influence of its own development level.The development of Anhui's outward direct investment is much more slow than other coastal port cities.Therefore,in order to ensure the joint improvement of the scale and quality of Anhui's outward direct investment.It is necessary to further analyze the factors affecting the scale and quality of the investment in Anhui provinceOn the basis of extensive reading comprehension at home and abroad,this paper expounds the theoretical basis of overseas direct investment,and has a preliminary understanding of the influencing factors of foreign direct investment from the literature review.But at present,the main research direction at home and abroad is based on the analysis of the influence factors of foreign direct investment based on the state level.Few studies have been carried out from the regional level.At the same time,in the exploration of foreign direct investment,this paper finds that most scholars are based on the investment scale,investment location and other factors,for the investment quality.The analysis of the quantity is negligible.Therefore,after the macro analysis based on the related generality and theoretical basis of foreign direct investment,this paper studies the influence factors of Anhui overseas direct investment from two aspects of scale and quality respectively.Through literature review,empirical analysis,case analysis and other ways,the qualitative and quantitative research is conducted on the influencing factors of Anhui's overseas direct investment.This paper first expounds the current situation of the scale of FDI in Anhui Province,including the general situation of the flow and stock,the main body of investment and the distribution of the investment.Secondly,based on the theory of international production tradeoff and small-scale technology,the factors affecting the scale of foreign direct investment in Anhui are analyzed.Thirdly,this paper uses the data of 1997-2016 years to carry out an empirical analysis,and uses the multiple linear regression model of Eviews software to explore the influence of the per capita GDP in Anhui Province,the total export of Anhui Province,the technical advantage of Anhui Province,the advantage of the scale of the enterprises in Anhui,and the bilateral relations of the state to the scale of the foreign direct investment in Anhui province.The empirical results show that the per capita GDP of Anhui and the total export volume of Anhui province have a significant impact on overseas direct investment in our province.Secondly,this paper also tries to explore the factors affecting the quality of foreign direct investment in Anhui province.This paper mainly analyzes the guidance of China's foreign direct investment under the national level.Finally,from the two aspects of the location distribution of Anhui enterprises' foreign direct investment and the industrial distribution of Anhui enterprises' foreign direct investment,the factors that affect the quality of Anhui's foreign direct investment are explored.Finally,based on the theoretical analysis and empirical results,to fulfill the promotion of the scale and quality of ODI in our province,this paper will give advice from three aspects.From the perspective of enterprises,they should focus on the innovation,evade the risk and understand the government policy.From the perspective of associations,they should provide an effective platform for enterprise to exchange information and give more propaganda and training about law risk.From the perspective of government,Anhui government should give more supports to these enterprise,make a good use of Overseas Economic and trade cooperation zone and speed up the economy development of Anhui province.
