Combining with the theories and research methods of economic geography, business geography and urban geography, this paper takes the functional space of commercial district in Shanghai as the research object and explores the development trend of the functional spatial agglomeration and evolution in commercial district from two dimensions of time and space. And in-depth analysis of the dynamics of commercial agglomeration. On this basis, the paper discusses in-depth the hierarchy of function agglomeration in commercial district. This article is divided into six chapters and three parts as fallows : The first part includes the first chapter and the second chapter,Chapter 1 mainly introduces the research background, significance of the topic, research content, research methods, technical route;Chapter 2 is mainly about analysis of relevant concepts, the quantitative analysis of relevant literature at home and abroad, and on the basis of this,a literature review of commercial street, commercial location and commercial space gathering and is made. The second part includes chapter 3/4/5,Chapter 3 mainly reviews the development of commercial district since the opening of Shanghai, reviews the current situation of Shanghai commercial district;Chapter 4 mainly carries on the quantitative analysis to the four sample commercial blocks in Shanghai to discuss the gathering patterns and evolutionary trends of commercial functions such as catering dominant, shopping dominant and leisure entertainment dominant in Commercial Street and reveals the influencing factors of commercial agglomeration;Chapter 5 mainly analyzes the spatial correlation of different types of outlets in commercial street by using spatial correlation analysis method and reveals the hierarchy of commercial street function gathering.Chapter 6 is the third part,it is mainly conclusions and prospects,This chapter outlines the main conclusions and the research prospects.Through analyzing the shape and evolution trend of Shanghai's commercial neighborhood, this article thinks:(1)The functions of East Nanjing Road and Wujiaochang Commercial Street form a multi-core agglomeration pattern, and their functional evolution tendencies are obvious, and still have great potential for improvement;the functions of Tianlin Road and Longming Road Commercial Street respectively to form a banded,multi-massive core aggregation,Functional evolutiontrend is weak, commercial street development is more stable.(2)East Nanjing Road,Wujiaochang block size of commercial agglomeration have weakened trend, but the intensity of agglomeration has increased significantly, commercial street focus on three-dimensional space development, focusing on enhancing the attraction of large-scale commercial agglomeration.Due to the demolition of some commercial outlets in Tianlin Road neighborhood, the strength and scale of commercial agglomeration have shown declining trends in varying degrees.Longming Road Commercial Street outlets achieved a slight increase in the strength and scale of commercial agglomeration showed varying degrees of upward trend.(3)Consumer groups, transportation, planning and positioning are the differences that promote the clustering development of different grades of commercial districts.Externality economic effect and consumer behavior are the common factors that promote the cluster development of commercial districts.(4)Fashion apparel, general merchandise, restaurants dinner are the core of the commercial district;cosmetics, beauty and health, snack bars, jewelry etc,is the outer layer of municipal commercial blocks, cinema,KTV,recreation and fitness community level neighborhoods outside the business district;bars and tearoom, stationery books, building materials and other home-based business district is the relevant support layer.
