With the advent of the era of knowledge economy,technological innovation plays an increasingly important role in driving economic growth.Technological innovation is the soul of national progress and the motive force of national prosperity.Coinciding with the support of national policies,the vitality of technology innovation is stimulated by the powerful environment.This present is also an era of efficiency.In the background of the era of knowledge economy and efficiency,how to optimize the allocation of resources is very important for an enterprise,an industry,and even a country.Hence,there are distinct characteristics of the times in the research on technological innovation from the perspective of efficiency.Only by quantitative analysis of the efficiency of technological innovation in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry can the importance of technological innovation be made clear to the development of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry,and the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry can be reversed in the trend of economic times.Therefore,the research on the technological innovation efficiency of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is based on a strong background of the times.This paper focuses on the efficiency of technological innovation level in China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry,which is divided into the following parts:First,it discusses the background and significance of the research and reviews the existing research literature on the efficiency of technological innovation,and builds the overall framework of this paper relying on the current research status.Second,it reviews the theoretical basis of relevant research,elaborates the definition of technological innovation and the definition and measurement method of the efficiency of technological innovation.It combs the theories of existing research and clarify the theoretical origin of the research on the efficiency of technological innovation.Third,according to the research objectives,it designs the evaluation method of the technological innovation efficiency of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry,selects the evaluation index and determine the efficiency of technological innovation from the two dimensions of innovation input and innovation output,and builds the research path on the efficiency of technological innovation in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.Fourth,calculates and evaluate the technological innovation efficiency of China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.The factor analysis method is used to calculate the input factor of technological innovation and the output factor of technological innovation,to measure the efficiency of technological innovation in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and to evaluate the resource allocation of the technological innovation in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.The results shows that the overall technological innovation efficiency of China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry fluctuates largely from 2007 to 2016,the technological innovation output of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is lower than the innovation input,which may exist in the waste of innovative resources,the abuse of resources and the shortage of output.Fifth,analyzes the reasons for the alteration of technological innovation efficiency in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.From the two aspects of industry internal and external,it is found that the low quality of innovation results is the fundamental reason for the decline of technological innovation efficiency in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.Finally,in view of the results of the research,some suggestions are put forward for the technological innovation of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in China.
