The final realization of One Belt And One Road and the coordinated development of countries along the belt and road need to be ensured by infrastructure construction,especially the construction guarantee of the land and air transportation infrastructure.China and the region along the belt and road had made a series of systematic and breakthrough progress in the field of infrastructure connectivity represented by transportation infrastructure in the four years of One Belt And One Road.Countries along the belt and road began to realize the great development opportunities brought by One Belt And One Road,and paid more attention to the construction of transportation infrastructure in the country or the region.It is of great meaning to scientifically evaluate the investment status of transportation infrastructure along the route since One Belt And One Road and to analyze the technical efficiency,scale efficiency and external influence index of the transportation infrastructure investment of the countries along the route under such a background to improve the efficiency and efficiency of the investment and construction of One Belt And One Road transport infrastructure projects,and to promote the "One Belt And One Road" infrastructure connectivity and road cooperation.This paper takes countries along the Belt and Road as the whole research object.The BCC model and the Malmquist total factor productivity index were adopted in the data envelopment method(DEA).Based on the empirical research on the investment efficiency and the change trend of the transportation infrastructure in the countries along the route,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The overall level of investment efficiency of transportation infrastructure in countries along the "One Belt And One Road" is relatively low at present,but it shows a relatively good trend of development and change.Engineering technology and management operation level are relatively low is the main reason of inefficiency.Technological progress is the main driving force for the continuous improvement of the investment efficiency of transportation infrastructure in the countries along the route.(2)The investment efficiency and growth rate of transportation infrastructure in CEE countries is lower than that of the countries along the One Belt And One Road,but the overall trend of development and change is relatively favorable.Technological progress is the main reason for the increasing efficiency of transportation infrastructure investment in CEE countries in recent years.The internal investment efficiency of central and eastern European countries is quite different.(3)The average efficiency of China’s transport infrastructure investment is at a low level.The main reason for the inefficiency of China’s transport infrastructure investment is the extensive investment mode and unreasonable investment scale.The main reason for improving the investment efficiency of China’s transport infrastructure is technological progress in recent years.
