Along with the advancement of the western development strategy,mountain railway,pavement,water conservancy and other infrastructure projects is booming,and landslide frequently encountered in the process.One of the landslide occurred in steep slope(ground generally more than 30°)composed of collapse deposit,which cut exports is generally higher than river,ditch,or a particular architectural structures(group),so we call it high dipping landslide composed of collapse deposit.This type of landslide due to its relatively high development position,dip Angle of the sliding surface,once started,it was sliding speed,distance,and being harmfulness,ofen taking lots of money and energy to governance.In view of this,the paper Summarizes the distribution and development characteristics of the high dipping landslide composed of collapse deposit,which supported by China Railway Southwest Institute of science and Research Co.,Ltd.,the scientific research project-the high dipping deposit landslide formation mechanism and control technology research,and based on large amount of investigation of the high dipping landslide composed of collapse deposit.Through in-depth study of this kind of landslide formation mechanism,we can achieve the goal of disaster prevention and mitigation.The paper main achievements are realized by the following aspects:1.Selected Wei Jia Wan landslide,Inner Six Lines K285 landslide,Chen Shan landslide instance for landslides,by widely collected the high dipping landslide composed of collapse deposit in southwest mountainous area.Described amply regional geological background,basic characteristics and influencing factors of the landslides.2.Summarized distribution,morphological characteristics,composition features and the main inducing factors of the high dipping landslide composed of collapse deposit,through field investigation and analysis of landslide.3.Analyzed the process in detail of the collapse deposit forming,the potential sliding surface(belt)forming,the landslide forming and occurrence of landslides,by inside and outside geologic forces coupling mode.On the above research,analyzed the whole forming process of the high dipping landslide composed of collapse deposit.4.Selected the six lines K285 landslide and one landslide in northeastern of Sichuan province as examples,and verified the following conclusion:rainfall induced landslides instability was mainly affected by groundwater,sliding surface(belt)shear strength reduction,and landslide which instability induced by excavation unloading is mainly influenced by the disturbance of excavation unloading,landslide front sliding resistance decline,by the transfer coefficient method and FLAC~3DD finite difference method.5.Proposed the survey methods,technical requirements and the main prevention measures of the high dipping landslide composed of collapse deposit.
