The Research Of Xiangyushu

At present,the destructive effects like extreme weather and meteorological disasters caused by the global climate change are increasingly severe,which seriously threatens the human production and living.Therefore,human beings put forward the urgent request on the accuracy of weather forecast and climate prediction,and the establishment of the meteorological disaster warning mechanism.In accelerating the research of modern atmosphere science,numerous scholars also start to study the historical meteorological information recorded in the meteorological science and technology books of ancient China.In strengthening the research of the meteorological information recorded in history,political books,encyclopedias and other meteorological science and technology books,academic circles also extend to study the meteorological proverbs recorded in the private diary,travel notes and other writings and get great achievements.Taking Xiangyushu,a meteorological science and technology book in ancient China,as the research object,this paper uses the atmospheric science,philology,linguistics and other multidisciplinary crossover study methods to prove the book version,to determine the forming time,to speculate the author's identity,and to get the book punctuated,numbered and annotated,from which we can explore the weather forecast technology and theory of this book,and excavate the value of meteorological history in the book and the modern value of the ancient meteorological proverb.In this paper,the core content is divided into four chapters:The first chapter of the paper is to prove the author and the forming time of Xiangyushu.At present,article circles have different opinions of this question.Joseph Needham claims that the author is "the Han people";according to the extant fragment,Fang Hui in the Yuan Dynasty thinks that the author is "the Tang people";some scholars believe that the author is "the Song people".Through the literature research and analyzing meteorological science and technology achievement background and meteorological thoughts of the Han Dynasty,this paper traces the historical source of Xiangyushu,and determines the Xiangyushu as the first meteorological forecast book of ancient China.The book is written in the Sui dynasty,whose author is Huang Zifa,the Sui and tang Dynasty people.In the second chapter,this paper uses the modern atmospheric science related principles and knowledge to readjust the structure of Xiangyushu,and get the book numbered and annotated.Besides,this part also researches the weather forecast technology from atmospheric changes like thunder and lightning,cloud,wind,fog,the stars,the moon,and the sun.The third chapter is to explore the weather forecast theory,which is based on the cycle rhythm(cycle thought),Yin and Yang five lines of thought,the key day,combined with Chinese era deduction,and the twenty-four solar terms.The fourth chapter is to discuss the influences on the development of meteorological science and technology books in later dynasties(Song,Yuan,Ming,Qing)caused by Xiangyushu to affirm the academic research significance and the contemporary value of meteorological proverbs in Xiangyushu.This part is divided into three sections,including the application of meteorological proverb in modern weather forecasting system,the application of meteorological proverb in meteorological science popularization education,and the effect of the inheritance and protection of meteorological historical and cultural heritage.
