Mining areaEL90 is located in the western of Pakistan,tectonic position in the middle of the Himalayas-Alpine fold belt.Chagai area is the most important Copper and Gold polymetallic mineralization belt in Pakistan.Mining area and peripheral areas has proven Saindak copper and gold mine Reqo Diq large gold-copper deposit has a similar geological setting conditions,with better prospecting.But because of various restrictions of politics,economy and technology,it only carries out more than 1:250000 regional geological survey work in the area,and and the overall low level of work..The research about metallogenic geological conditions,metallogenic regularity and metallogenic prediction in the area is limited.By full collecting and comprehensive analyzing the former geological data and achievement,we have a rough idea of geology,structure,magmatic rocks,metamorphic rocks and geologicfeatures of ore body in the Mining areaEL90 on the sponsor basis of overseas risk exploration fund project " Copper and Gold polymetallic Deposits selected area evaluation in Chagai area,Balochistan Province,Pakistan";Copper-iron polymetallic deposit in the area is mainly distributed in fault belt,containing ore belt is controlled by NWW thrusted fault belt.Faulted structural belt is both ore magma rising channel and is the main channel of altered hydrothermal;Marble in the area is strata-bound ore deposit,and Tertiary system Strata(E3AM)is the main ore-bearing horizon of marble mine;It conforms preliminarily the main metallogenic series in this area:The first is porphyry-hydrothermal copper,gold,molybdenum,lead and zinc polymetallic ore deposit relating to calc-alkaline intermediate-acid intrusive rocks in volcano-magmatic arc belt;The second is gold,copper,lead,zinc,silver,antimony hydrothermal deposit and regional metamorphism marble deposit relating to structural-hydrothermal alteration in back-arc basin.Through geological mapping,geochemical exploration,pit engineering and integrated test,it comprehensively researches geological and mineral data in the 1:50000 constituencies evaluation project,and divides into a secondary metallogenic prospect areas in the mining area.Namely,it is copper polymetallic?-1,marble ? metallogenic prospect areas.On this basis,the delineation of a B-prospecting targets and three C-grade ore prospecting target has the potential,and were evaluated,provides the basis and foundation for further mineral exploration and geological research.
