The research of oil well communication technology has become a very useful method to improve the oil development benefits in oil well-bore control engineering fields with the rapid development and progress of science and technology.The mud pulse method and preset cable technique has been used in oil telemetry system to control the down-hole equipments in traditional process,but they cause several disadvantages,such as low communication rate,difficult constructions,long working hours and high cost of production.This paper,taking full account of the segmented injection wells process,presents a new method using acoustic waves to transmit data inside periodic pipelines,which are used as communication channels.First,an ideal mathematical model of pipelines is constructed to analysis acoustic waves inside the long-distance periodic pipelines.Subsequently,the acoustic curves of dispersion,amplitude and frequency distribution are simulated by computers.Meanwhile,in order to verify the theory,a wireless sensor network for acoustic communication technology has been designed to collect the actual data of the longitudinal waves inside the pipes.Finally,by comparing the results from the fact and simulation,it proved that this method can effectively achieve oil well data transmission standards.This paper presents a method called orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)for acoustic modulation and demodulation,according to the propagation properties of acoustic waves inside periodic pipelines.The structure of the acoustic communication system based on OFDM technology,are illustrated in details as well as the simulation results.In addition,the paper describes the current research situation around the world.This paper provides the theoretical basis and experiment methods analysis to achieve the acoustic communication technology for well-bore control engineering.
