Downhole drilling tools is one of the best drilling tool used for directional wells,cluster wells,horizontal wells and rescue wells.With adopting downhole drill motors to drive drill bit,drill column not rotated can reduce power consumption,tool wear,the sidewall interference and reduce hole accident.In this background,this paper studies and designs software used in downhole drilling tools of non-circular planetary gear motor parameter design.Through the Matlab platform,the paper gets the related theory and theoretical derivation into computer programs and develop graphic user interface and function,with which realizing mechanism parameter design.Then the calculated parameters were used for the three dimensional modeling to test the software reliability.(1)With the finishing of the related literature,the key steps of the design of non-circular planetary gear motor were got.First,according to the given number of cycles and drill diameter,the teeth numbers of external gear and annular gear were determined.Secondly,based on meshing theory and the given curve type of annular gear,the pitch curve equation of annular gear and the teeth number of planetary gear were determined by the pitch curve closed condition,the gear teeth equispaced condition,nonintervention condition and contact ratio examination.Then the nodes coordinates of external gear pitch curve were calculated with Matlab,with which external gear pitch curve equation was determined.In the end,according to the known equation of external gear and annular gear pitch curve,the dividing flow hole's site,rated pressure,torque,displacement and revolving speed were calculated.(2)The work status and work requirements of downhole drilling tools were analyzed.Then by calculation and deduction,the detailed calculation method about the gear teeth,displacement,maximum working hydraulic and dividing flow hole position was given by the given parameters(cycle number,tool diameter and module),which provides the basis for developing software to design the drilling tool structure parameters that satisfy the work requirement of drilling.The development steps of software were described in detail from the software development process,interface design,function function definition and functional control compilation,etc.And the use of software and the operation method of the late data callback were given.(3)Using GMDT 1.0 software,the 4-6-152-1.25 type motor was calculated,and the 3d modeling of this type of motor was made through the Solidworks software,the process of which was given at the same time.Through calculation and 3d modeling,the non-circular planetary gear train engagement is fine,which prove that the software design is reasonable and the software can satisfy the design requirements of structure parameters and provide supplementary role for developing subsequent drilling tools.
