Eccentric annular flow is widely used in engineering practice,such as drilling,screw pump,oil production,etc.As an example,the annular flow is formed between the drill pipe and the well bore in the drilling process.At the same time,the drill pipe is rotated at a certain angular velocity,so that the eccentric annular spiral flow is formed in the back row of the cement slurry in the annular space.In the process of screw pump oil production,eccentric annular spiral flow can also be generated between sucker rod and tubing.It is an important basis for engineering design and production management to study the law of pressure drop and its influence factors.In previous studies,most of the research on Newton fluid.In practical engineering applications,the flow media often presents a non-Newton model,and the results of the application of Newton fluid will have a great error,which severely limits the practical application.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the spiral flow and the turbulent flow in circular tube of non-Newtonian fluid in the annulus.In this paper,the power-law fluid as the research object,through theoretical derivation and numerical simulation analysis of power-law fluid turbulence respectively in circular tube and eccentric annulus pipe flow pattern,by introducing stochastic turbulence theory and Prandtl mixing length theory and the combination of the two,the turbulent flow velocity distribution is derived the power-law fluid in a circular tube,to explore the influence of the power-law fluid flow index and viscosity of turbulent flow from the point of view of mechanics and numerical simulation by numerical FLUENT on the flow of power-law fluid in eccentric annulus of the spiral flow meter,so as to obtain the eccentricity,speed and speed affect the entrance the velocity field and pressure field.
