In the 21st century,Shenyang entered the golden age of rapid development of urbanization.With the frequent emergence of high-rise buildings,underground space was being used continuously,Subway construction has become an important part of Shenyang urbanization.A large number of survey work enrich the engineering survey data in Shenyang urban area.These data provide a reliable data for further study of the physical and mechanical properties of sand and gravel soil distributed in the Shenyang urban area.In this paper,the distribution of sand and gravel soil in Shenyang urban area is analyzed,and the distribution characteristics of sand and gravel soil gradation are studied in detail;By analyzing the correlation among the physical and mechanical properties,the regression equation among the physical property index and the indoor mechanical index is obtained.The large-scale shear test was carried out to study the shear strength of gravel sand and gravel in Shenyang,and the regression equation between the critical strike value and the shear strength index was established by correlation analysis.The bearing characteristics of sand and gravel soil in Shenyang urban area were analyzed by carrying out and collecting shallow plate load test;Based on the correlation analysis,the regression equation between the critical strike value and the bearing capacity of the foundation and the deformation modulus of the foundation is established and compared with the empirical formula in the Liaoning province.Finally,the structural strength of sand and gravel soil in Shenyang urban area was studied by in situ test of undisturbed and reconstituted soil.The research work of this paper has important theoretical meaning and practical meaning to promote the development of geotechnical engineering survey technology and enrich the experience of Shenyang urban area.
