Water and land resources are the basic resources of agricultural production.Their matching and carrying capacity plays an important role in improving regional agricultural water and soil resources carrying capacity and ensuring food security.Shanxi province is located in the Loess Plateau area.Its water resources are scarce and not evenly distributed in time and space.The utilization efficiency of water resources is low,and the shortage of water resources has become the short-board of restricting the development of agriculture.Therefore,it is helpful to improve the utilization efficiency of water and land resources and optimize the allocation of water and soil resources by analyzing the matching degree and carrying capacity of agricultural water and land resources.ultimately,it will promote the sustained and healthy development of agriculture.In this paper,the matching degree of agricultural water and land resources was calculated by using the matching model of water and soil resources.The carrying capacity index of agricultural water and land resources was calculated by using the Principal Component Analysis.Obstacle factors of agricultural water and soil resources carrying capacity were analyzed by calculating obstacle degree.Finally,the countermeasures to improve the carrying capacity of agricultural water and soil resources were put forward.The results showed that:(1)?The matching degree of agricultural water and land resources was consistent with the dynamic trend of total water resources,and they were highly correlated(R = 0.975).It indicated that the total water resources seriously affected the matching degree of agricultural water and land resources.?The matching degree of agricultural water and land resources had distinct spatial diversity.Xinzhou city and Jinzhong city had better matching degrees than other cities.Yuncheng city,Changzhi city,Linfen city,Lvliang city and Shuozhou city had good matching degrees.Datong city and Taiyuan city had general matching degrees Jincheng city had a poor matching degree.Yangquan city had the worst matching degree.(2)?The agricultural water and land resources carrying capacity of in Shanxi Province was declining during 2000-2001,and reached the lowest point in the study period in 2001.It rised in 2002,and then decreased gradually.lt showed a volatile upward trend since 2005.?The order of agricultural water and land resources carrying capacity from large to small is that:Jinzhong city,Yuncheng city,Linfen city,Shuozhou city,Xinzhou city,Changzhi city,Taiyuan city,Lvliang city,Yangquan city,Jincheng city and Datong city.(3)?For Shanxi province,from the index layer obstacle degree,the index of unit of arable land area of agricultural production value had the highest obstacle degree from 2001 to 2002.The index of irrigation water consumption per unit of cultivated land area had the highest obstacle degree from 2003 to 2009.The index of proportion of primary industry had the highest obstacle degree from 2010 to 2014.From the criterion layer obstacle degree,the economic system had the highest obstacle degree from 2000 to 2012.The social system had the highest obstacle degree from 2013 to 2014.?For every cities,from the index layer obstacle degree,the indexes of cultivated area growth rate and grain output growth rate had higher obstacle degree.From the criterion layer obstacle degree,the water and land resources system obstacle degree of Taiyuan city,Yangquan city,Changzhi city,Jincheng city,Linfen city and Lvliang city was the highest.The economic system obstacle degree of Datong city,Shuozhou city,Jinzhong city and Xinzhou city was the highest.The four criterion layers'obstacle degrees of Yuncheng city were basically the same.?The suggestions on improving agricultural water and land resources carrying capacity were as follows:Ensure the quantity of cultivated land and improve the quality of cultivated land.Strengthen the construction of farmland water conservancy facilities and improve agricultural water-saving technology.Adjust the agricultural planting structure and optimize the water and land resources matching degree.Control the use of chemical fertilizers and protect the ecological environment.
