In this paper,a method for stabilizing uncertain singular systems under commu-nication constraints based on reduced order state observer is proposed.Firstly,the design method of reduced-order state observer is presented by using matrix singular value decomposition technique for singular systems.Secondly,due to the uncertainty of time-varying,norm-bounded and parameter mismatch,the bandwidth of the communi-cation network is limited.A robust control strategy based on event triggering is adopted to reduce the influence of system uncertainty on the bandwidth of the network.Finally,by solving the optimal control problem based on virtual dynamics and modified cost function,the robust control based on state observer is derived to make the uncertain singular system stable.Thus the event triggering conditions for discrete-time uncertain systems axe derived and the stability of the system is guaranteed theoretically.
