Coal resource is one of the main energy sources in China.A lot of data is needed from exploration to mining.The conventional engineering data is a two-dimensional chart file.Through the establishment of a real 3D geological model,it can be converted into a more intuitive and informative three-dimensional data,which can help to understand the environment and geological structure of the underground reservoir,and provide help for the construction of the mining area or the collection of ore bodies.This paper introduces the basic method and principle of 3D geological modeling,and uses the related data of 111 boreholes in the study area,and uses GOCAD to establish the 3D geological model of the study area based on the determination of the mark layer(such as coal seam).Cut the three dimensional geological model,and qualitative analysis the section map,research on 4-1 coal,7-1 coal,8 coal,11-2 Coal and 13-1 coal specially.To obtain the distribution law of coal seam and the volume distribution of the corresponding coal seam,and explore the relationship between them and the top floor sand bodies,so as to provide some guidelines for the collection of ore bodies..The three-dimensional geological model of stratified geological body needs a lot of borehole data to obtain the coordinate information of each stratified layer.The layer information of the mark layer is more stable and easy to compare in the whole research area.Although there are some lithological columns in the strata between the marked layers,although the borehole histogram provides the corresponding lithologic columns,the stratification may be too dense or sparse,which is unfavorable for geological analysis.The target layer is studied by natural gamma ray,apparent resistivity,natural potential and other logging curves.Artificial stratification is not adopted because of complexity and empiricism.The optimal segmentation method is used to automatically divide the layers between 13-1 coal and 15 coal sections,and compare with the lithologic profile data and automatically divide the layers.The matching degree is high,so we can use this method to automatically divide strata.The stratigraphic division has only layer information,and the 3D geological model should be composed of geometric model and attribute model.Using the method of K means clustering analysis and rendezvous method,the lithology identification is carried out in the study area,and the lithology of the study area is divided into three types: sandstone,siltstone and mudstone.The corresponding relationship between the response values of logging parameters and the lithology is established by using three logging parameters of natural gamma,apparent resistivity and natural potential,and the study area is taken.The lithology identification operation of core section proves the feasibility of this method in lithology identification.The lithologic identification of each layer which is automatically divided from 13-1 to 15 coal seams can get data with lithology and stratification position,so that the interwell contrast and non sign layer can be quickly modeled.It can not only understand the depositional law and the occurrence of coal seam,but also establish a more fine three-dimensional geological model,and provide assistance for actual production.
