Objective:In this paper,we used MRI to measure the distance between the skin surface and the surface of the skin surface of the facial skin of the Chinese Han population in different age groups(18,38 and 68 years old)in Liaoning Province. And discussing the differences of soft tissue thickness in different age group to explore the change of soft tissue thickness in facial aging. To supplement the database of facial soft tissue thickness in this region and explore the significance of its clinical treatment in facial rejuvenation.Method:This study randomly selected patients' data from the first hospital of Dalian Medical University from December 2015 to December 2017,include 150 women aged 16 to 20,149 women at 38 years of age and 148 women in 66 to70 years old.Men aged 16 to 20 and 36 to 40 and 47 men aged 66 to 70,and Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)was used to scan 9 anatomical landmarks in human face and to measure the thickness of the skin to the soft tissue of the periosteum, the above survey data are expressed as mean and standard deviation, and SPSS software was used for statistical analysis using independent sample t test, and P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Result:In both male and female measurement groups, the average values measured in the 18-year-olds,38-year-old group and 68-year-old group were mostly increased, maximum to decrease, and the male's average of the same age group was larger than the female. In the female study subjects, except for the 38-year-old group and 68-year-old group(P=0.91)at Mid-Supraorbital upper 1cm,the 18-year-old group and 68-year-old group(P=0.054)at Orbital periphery and Frontal bone junction and the 18-year-old group and 68-year-old group(P=0.54)at the Infraorbital margin, the differences between the two females groups were statistically significant at different measurement sites.Nevertheless in the male study subjects, except for the 18-year-old group and38-year-old group(P=0.49)at the Mid-Supraorbital upper 1cm,the 18-year-old group and 68-year-old group(P=0.61)at the Mid-Supraorbital upper 1cm,the 18-year-old group and 38-year-old group(P=0.74)at Orbital periphery and Frontal bone junction and the 18-year-old group and 68-year-old group(P=0.31)at the Subnasale, there are8 also statistically significant differences between the two male groups at different measurement sites. Conclusion:With the increase of age,the facial soft tissue thickness of the Chinese Hans show the trend of "thick-thickest-thinning".In the same sex,the thickness of soft tissue in the lower face and chin was significantly higher than that of the upper face in different age groups, proving that significant differences in the three age groups of cheek, periorbital and lower face. However, the variation of the thickness of the frontal temporal region with age was not obvious. The thickness of facial soft tissue in male of the same age group was larger than the females.
